all the answers above are wrong because it is Gods intervention that made the bus crash, the reason, the notre dame is a church in paris, there are no mountains near the notre dame therefore impossible for the bus to carry 46 pilgrims accross a mountain road, so God had to of intervene by putting the mountain next to paris, God punished the bus driver for not having the permit to carry 46 pilgrims.

“How is it hypocrisy for President Obama to give an address at a prominent American university (or a prominent Catholic university)?” (Grad Student) He stands against many of the foundational moral teachings of the Church. Predominant among those is that he promotes the murder of the most innocent and helpless of humanity. His second day in office he signed an executive order for the US to pay for abortions on demand around the world which has the effect of exporting the greatest evil of the US. Do you realize that the result of this action alone will make Obama responsible for more murders of innocent and helpless people than the combination of despot leaders like Hitler, Stalin and Pol Pot before his first term is complete? “Notre Dame is fortunate to have the president speak there, and it is entirely appropriate for the president to support critical higher education and research.” (GS) Would you have the same opinion if it was Hitler, Stalin or Pol pot speaking there? His speaking at the University gives the impression that the University approves of his evil agenda and it promotes his agenda. It besmirches the veracity and reputation of the Church and puts the Church in the forefront of ridicule. Surely, you are not serious in your statement. “And though the church is naturally very diverse, most US Catholics voted for President Obama, so I fail to see any hypocrisy there.”(GS) Perhaps, but they ceased to be Catholic when they supported the murder of the unborn and are guilty of mortal sin which killed their soul and separated them from the familial relationship with our Lord. I would encourage you and others who did like you to confess this sin and reconcile with the Church. In the meantime do not desecrate the blessed Sacrament by receiving it which will only magnify and increase your sin and separation from the Church. It would also be respectful to no longer call yourself a Catholic until you can free yourself from this mortal sin. God bless and may the Lord be with you. With love in Christ Fr. Joseph

The crash was the result of the driver not respecting the rules and as for GOD he was not a lot of good as usual, because he don't exist.

Any time you cross a mountain road you are risking serious injury and death.
God has no real play in this, it is up to the driver and the roadway.

God did not make those people die. God is not concerned with a permit for a bus, God has all power not the government.
