Yes, I believe it is. Revelation, for example, tells that a world dictator will come who will be endued with the power of Satan and will claim for himself the preogatives of God. Assisting him will be a false prophet who will do signs in the dictator's name. Rev. 13:1-18 - 2 Thess. 2:4 - Rev. 13:13-15. The goal of the NWO is identical to that described in the Bible......the taking over of the entire world by a one world government. Other scriptures can be found in Daniel in the Old Tesyament. The world is looking for SOMEONE to solve all the horrendous problems today.......and the NWO 'seems' to hold out that promise, and will be even more open and prevalent in time yet to come. Deception is the name of the game.

It depends on which New World Order you are talking.
Jesus Christ continually taught of the coming Kingdom of God and all Christians are working to bring this new world order about.
