Well, being an old hand at this game, I could probably travel with a newborn as soon as I took them home from the hospital, but when I had my first it was a different story. Your first child is a really steep learning curve, and it takes you a good month or two to feel totally confident in being a mother and being able to handle everything, and to remember all the little bits and pieces that a newborn needs.

you can travel as soon as you are feeling up to it after delivery, but remember the first 6 weeks or so the baby will not be on your schedule, and sleeping only 2-3 hrs at a time. You may want to wait until he's 2 months old or more for a real trip.

As long as baby and mom are in good health, you can travel as soon as you feel ready. Stop often and take breaks. Feed baby twice during your car trip so baby stays hydrated. Make sure the car is a comfortable tempature for your baby. You might want to consider staying longer than 2-3 days. You will both be exuasted and not in the mood to drive back so soon.

You shouldn't take a newborn baby on a airplane because it will hurt their ears. You can take a newborn baby practically anywhere, but I would wait until the baby is at least 1 month old until you go on a long vacation in the car because it could catch a bug really easily.

I even have on no account traveled with a new child new child yet I did commute with a 4 month previous and that i won't be able to think of that it particularly is any distinctive. All you do is make optimistic your toddler is fed and adjusted previously you go away and withing a pair hours your toddler could be hungry back so which you will could desire to quit to feed them so it ought to take you longer to get there yet i think of it particularly is going to likely be fantastic as long as you're as much because it and the toddler is merely too and the wellbeing practitioner says it particularly is okay. good success on your upcoming arrival.

Once you leave that hospital, its all fair game. I personally don't like to travel long distances with a newborn, but its purely personal preference. Just remember that you'll have to pull over often for feedings and diaper changes. Best of Luck and enjoy your trip.
