Personally, I think that a child is a child from conception, but as I also recognize that that is a personal belief and that not everyone shares it, I would never push it on someone else. I could never have one myself, but I will always vote pro-choice. I think that the father should have some say, but I think it should ultimately be the woman's choice. I don't think that minors should be able to get them without parental consent because it is a surgical procedure, and they need consent for any other kind of surgical procedure. I do not believe that late-term abortions should be legal because at that point, you've already gone through enough of the pregnancy that an abortion will not prevent the unwanted "nuisances" of pregnancy, so you might as well let the child live. However, if we don't allow women to have the access to safe, legal abortions, they will get them illegally or use a coat-hanger, endangering their own lives in the process. As for what I think of the women who get abortions, it really depends on the situation. I would never question a rape victim's choice to get an abortion, but I think that a woman who was being simply irresponsible should deal with the consequences of her actions. Yes, birth control can be difficult to come by, but I believe that the solution is to wait until you can get the birth control, or buy a pack of condoms. However, as much as I look down upon women who get abortions as a "quick fix" to an irresponsible mistake, I know that there's no way to legally sort them out from those who have good reason to get them, and again, will support their decision. I think we are each responsible for our own actions, and we each will have to pay the consequences for our missteps, and so, I will make my choice for my body, and other women are free to make their own choices for their own bodies. Venus Bless Edit: I actually have a friend who is in the unfortunate position of being medically required to terminate any child conceived because she cannot drop any of her meds and they would cause too many problems in the child's development. Giving birth would also most likely kill her, and so for her, adoption is the ONLY option for her to have any kids. Luckily, one of the meds that keeps her alive IS birth control, and so it's unlikely that she ever WOULD conceive.

The local Christian radio station I enjoy is http://www.1049theriver.com/ (WCVO). They play all music 24/7, with no talk show programs (but you still have to put up with commercials).

My younger brother is a disc jockey on another local Christian radio station, http://tvulive.com/radiou/ (Radio U). I dislike most of the music they play, which is just not my kind of thing; I believe the station aims its programming more at capturing the attention of both the unsaved and the Christian youth culture. It is not the kind of thing that appeals to me personally, but my brother loves it with all his heart; and it is a popular station, so many other Christians share his good opinion of it. It just depends on personal preferences.

As for Christian teachers, my favorite is Joyce Meyer. She is on many radio stations (although, unfortunately, not in my area) and t.v. stations. She has an international ministry aimed at helping Christians grow up in Christ in a very real, down-to-earth way. Her website, where you can listen to her radio broadcasts and see her television program, is http://www.joycemeyer.org/.

I get XM radio through my direct tv satelite service and really enjoy the Gospel Grass program that is on every Sunday morning. It is real gospel music in the bluegrass style. It is XM channel 812 at 7:00 AM Sunday mornings on the DTV channel guide.

www.AmazingFacts.com has a section which I find very helpful. It has Sermons with Bible studies, so you can verifiy everything the pastor teaches. Topics such as: Prophecies, 10 Commandments, True Church, Sabbath, and more.

www.BibleUniverse.com- Excellent to help others learn about God's love.

www.FinalEvents.com- Highly recommended!
THEY ARE OFFERING A VIDEO-THAT EVERYONE SHOULD GET AND SHOW IT IN THEIR CHURCHES!!!
We need to be prepared for the earth's final events.
(the video is called: The Final Events Of Bible Prophecy)

God Bless
