My son turned three in Feb. He has no interest in using the potty. He doesn't tell me when he's peed, or pooped. He doesn't even acknowledge the potty. He cries when I make him sit on it. I've tried switching him to regular underwear and he just pees and poos in it and doesn't care. He doesn't care that he's wet, so I'm frusterated. He doesn't want treats or toys, or stickers. Nothing has worked. Please help! I've cried because this is soo incredibly frusterating. I've potty trained my other son and daughter without this problem. He goes through 10 pairs of underwear a day.

I spent 80 dollars in potty books and different treats and stickers and rewards, nothing has worked. He just cries on the potty, I can't read to him because he cries, I can't give him stickers because he cries. My husband and I and my other son and daughter have both showed him how to do it, nothing works.

My friend told me about The Potty Stool http://www.thepottystool.com I was skeptical the stool would make a difference but I never would have guessed how well it works! I think it really helps boys to pee standing up so they can see what is happening and connect the sensations.

I realized later that my kids really wanted to imitate what they saw adults doing and they were very determined to mimic correct toilet use.

The Potty Stool is just smarter potty training. I like that I don't have to use or clean a floor potty and I love that my kids are safe and never have to touch the toilet with their hands! My kids just get right up to the toilet on their own.

The best part is that kids use it for years. Hope this helps you.

Is he wearing training pants or regular little boy underwear? My grandson wasn't interested at all in using the toilet until I bought him some super hero underwear. He put them on and has had very few accidents.

All children are different and maybe your son is just a little stressed out about the whole ordeal. Try not too put too much pressure on him, but gently urge him to go when you know he should need to go.

Some folks say to make sure the child gets plenty of liquids, which essentially means making a sippy cup available at all times. I've found it easier to keep an eye on the kids bathroom habits if I make them ask for the sippy cup. That way I know for sure how much they've had to drink and can watch for the signs that they need to go potty and make sure they get there before going in their pants.

Good luck!
