There are many venues to act. We need to open our mouths and start informing some of the sleepers around us of what is happening, believe it or not, so many are oblivious to the serious impact illegal immigration is having on us. Write, call, fax, your congressmen. Become more involved in our children's schools, attend district board meetings, city council meetings. Check the licensing of contractors hired and the legitimacy of their employees. Do not use any businesses we know hire illegals. Become deeply involved in your political party...signs in the yard, meetings, even open your home as a polling location. Oh, most importantly, we need to get our borders secured right now! Get a fire going under the butt of America...this is a great country and when we want something that is right, good, and true accomplished, I believe there is no stopping us.

In my case, writing my elected representatives ( Feinstein and Boxer) is like talking to a brick wall. I have sent many letters to Feinstein stating that I am AGAINST illegal immigration and amnesty. She always sends a form letter back thanking me for supporting it. Do you think she listens or cares? No. She simply turns around and counts me as one of her supporters.
Boxer is a little better. She sends the I voted for the fence letter. Good for you Boxer, has it been built?
The problem is that we are dealing with a liberal elite that feel they are untouchable. They don't give a care about we the people want.
The only way we the people get what we want is to elect a candidate that is openly anti-illegal and not afraid to say so. This will be a real uphill battle because the liberal press will keep publishing articles saying they don't have a chance trying to persuade people not to waste their vote.
Should we vote for Hillary? well let's see, Although the liberal press has not really made an issue of it and she is really quiet about it, She hired a past president of La Raza Unida to run her campaign. Where do you think her sympathies are going to lie?
The real danger that faces America today is not from without, it is from within. It comes from the pro open borders, NAU, SPP crowd and the liberal media that pushes their agendas.

Write your reps in Washington in addition to writing the Mexican Embassy in the U.S. He has made mention that it is time for Mexico to fix their own country, and start respecting Americas sovereignty.
Andy W - Those elected officials are changing those laws for the illegals as we all debate it here in YA. We have to stay on top of every bill and amendment they bring to the floor these days. And hound them by email, phone calls, faxes, and snail mail. Because they are trying to slip into those bills, and amendments protection laws, and favorable laws for the illegals.

Well it took hard work and time but when you get enough people to raise hell with Senators and elected officials of the state you live in it forces them to hear and they place votes against those things that we don't want...We can't just stop there we need to push for border security now and possible deportation or better sollutions in the matter....

Fax, email, snail mail, and phone ALL your government officials. Do it every month. Tell your family and friends to do the same.
Boycott companies that hire illegals. (Tyson Chicken)
Don't be silent. Be heard.
Get politicians OUT that support illegal immigration (Clinton, Kennedy, Obama, Pelosi etc, etc)

Quit buying products from the global multi-nationals whose lobbyists keep pushing for more and more illegals. Dollars count more than votes.
Voting the creeps out takes too long and the one replacing them will be on the take in no time.
Read the Declaration of Independence; we are derelict in our duty when we keep this overbearing federal gov't in place.

tough one. i think that we should not cater to illegal immigrants ie.food stamps, welfare, etc.. i think that if people want to come to the u.s. they need to learn the language first and go through the legal process of becomming a citizen. i think if they are here on a work visa they should be able to get a driver's license to get to work and back safely and legally, but again they should know the language! I find it offensive that when I call a major corporation and you get, "if you want to speak to someone in english I have to press 1." My grandparents came to the u.s. in 1929 LEGALLY! they learned the language and forced my mom and her siblings to learn english. My aunt told me a teacher actually hit her in the head with a ruler and told her to learn english and now people can't get a job unless they know spanish. what's wrong with this picture? I hate the fact that when I stand in line at the grocery store they are using food stamps and then are parked next to me in a cadillac escalade. I hate that they rent out a 3 bedroom house and rent out each bedroom to several people at 500.00 a bed. Better yet, they have several people living in their garage as well as in their extra rooms and using the backyard as a toilet and shower. Yes, this is really happening. I hate that their teenage daughters get pregnant, receive welfare and the father of these children are gang members reeking havoc on our cities. And that when they call the police for help and your don't speak spanish they get made at you! Like it's their right to be in a foreign country and everyone should what they want. I think what we need in Washington is a younger generation of politicians. Because what we have there now, are a bunch of old timers with their own agendas, who don't want to get of their a s s and do the right thing for America.

*I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed.
* *Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. *
*But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue. *
*Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table...everywhere. *
*Then some of the birds turned mean: *
*They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. *
*And others birds were boisterous and loud: *
*They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food. *
*After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back porch anymore. *
*I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. *
*I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio. *
*Soon, the back yard was like it used to be...... quiet, serene and no one demanding their rights to a free meal. *
*Now lets see....... our government gives out free food, subsidized housing, free medical care, free education and allows anyone born here to be an automatic citizen. *
*Then the illegal's came by the tens of thousands. *
*Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are housing 5 families: you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor: your child's 2nd grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn't speak English: Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box; I have to press "one" to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than "Old Glory" are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties. *
*Maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder. *

That is a tough one. I have been communicating with my elected officials on a regular basis. Unfortunately, one Senator is Arlen Specter. He was one of the writers of the infamous non-amnesty immigration reform bill. He actually tried to persuade me that he is right.
