where is the wondows/system folder???

i need to put in a dll file in it but i dont kno where it is

In Windows XP, it's normally hidden (like all system folders)- you can allow them to be displayed by going into My computer and clicking on Tools/Folder Options/View and check the box that says "Show hidden files and folders"

Just be sure you trust the DLL file in question, manually sticking files in the windows/system folder can screw up your system in a hurry...
