Huh? Plorality of the phrase? Can't make out anything remotely related to Genesis 1:26 (dominion of man over animals).
Oh...you mean the "us" and "our"
Gen 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Yes . . . what the heck is that? Did God have a frog in his pocket?

Hi.
Try this on. At a Unity church (one is at renaissanceunity.com) the opening prayer includes the phrase "I am an individualized expression of God".
I will expand on that. The idea is that we are actually one person that decided to "split" into pieces with each piece reflecting a different aspect or facet of the "allness" which we in reality still are ( we have just "deliberately" mostly forgotten this in order to have some fun).
1:26 reflects the process whereby God decided how to have a game. First was the decision to be many parts. Then was the deciding on how to "dress" the parts.
All my best to All

Genesis 1:26 "And God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."
This place is talking about the trinity. God set out to make man exactly the way he is. Man was then created to look like the exact image of God, and his sons; the angels. If you ever wondered what an angel form looks like? Then look into a mirror, for we are created in their image.
Note that God created first the fish, then the fowl, and then the beasts. Following their creation and multiplying, God created the races of mankind. God then gave man the dominion over all the animal kingdom. He gave the animal cattle to hunt, and fish to catch for food, as well as taming them for domestic use. Man is the highest form of all life on this earth, though many movements today act as if they don't know it. When they place and value their soul little more than animal life.

In all Semitic languages, including Hebrew Arabic Aramaic etc. there are two types of plural.
Plural of numbers and quantity, like in English and...
Plural of respect, ask any jew or muslim what the "us" and "we" means in the Torah and Quran, respectively, then they should tell you (if they know the language of their religions) that it is the plural of respect.
_____________________________________________
How can it be Trinity?
Plural could be two, three, four or a million, why should the Holy Bible be so vague about a concept so important?
Mar 12:29And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord.
If Trinity was/is true then wouldn't Jesus have spelled it out clearly there and then. Why did he say "The Lord our God is one Lord" like the jews did before him, why didn't he testify of the Trinity:
"that there are three who bear witness in heaven, the father, the son and the holy ghost"
why would he never utter those words in his lifetime?

Two common understandings of this are:
1.) This is a divine plural, common in literature of that time. Because God is so great, He is refered to as plural, though He is one.
2.) This is an early revelation of God's Trinitarian character. He in fact is an "Us."

I wonder exactly what you mean myself. But God is both all God and at the same time separate from God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

"Our" image , God the Father , God the Son "Jesus" and God the Holy Spirit . Just as man is a body, soul and spirit so is God as God the Father is like the soul God the Son who is Jesus and has a body and God the Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of God.
