Strictly seen, this is exactly the same story repeating over and over, as you said. The thing is that people don't like letting go of what they are familiar with; good or bad things. Now of course this doesn't mean that Jesus is should be cast aside and Muhammad take his place, or vise versa.

Most religions have many had prophets and often even foretell more to come but at the same time warn for false prophets. When these prophets talk about things that don't add up with previous beliefs (compare old testament with the new one for example) people can easily dismiss that prophet for a false one.

The Bible makes it clear that the Jews reject Christ - it is not Christians blaming them. They were looking for a Messiah that would come and make war against their enemies and take over. Christ came as the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.

When He didn't suit their plans and when he exposed the hypocrisy of the religious leaders of His day - they executed Him rather than repenting of their sin and acknowledging Him as the Messiah.

As far as Muhammad is concerned; He is other than biblical and a false prophet according to the scriptures. If he were a prophet of the One True and Living God he would be the first to tell everyone that salvation comes only through Jesus, and he would acknowledge Jesus as God.

This is a very, very good and interesting question.
My answer to you, and perhaps you may not like this, however, man has an evil nature. Man also has a Godly nature, however, man has the free will to chose what he wishes to do or not do. Man is for him/her self and he/she will use the evil nature to get what the self wants.
Christians hate the Jews. The Jews hate their brother's the other Arab nation's. We here in the USA are programmed to hate Mohammed and the Jews and whoever else is weakest at the time. Remember also, that we are always predudiced when we are out numbered.
Evil persist because mankind choses so.

it particularly is real that life repeats itself and that folk could learn from the blunders others have made so that they gained't additionally repeat them. there's a huge distinction right here in spite of the undeniable fact that. Moses had warning signs following him to show he became sent from God that have been witnessed via the Jewish people besides because of the fact the Egyptians(his rod turning out to be a snake, his hand turning leprous while placed interior his cloak, turning the Nile into blood, bringing in distinctive plagues of locusts, frogs, gnats, etc. and the loss of life of any firstborn no longer decrease than the blood of the Passover lamb). Jesus additionally had warning signs to show he became sent from God (3 years of healing multitudes of the ill, the crippled, the deaf, the blind, the demon-possessed; elevating the ineffective, feeding 1000's from a pair of loaves of bread, etc.) yet Mohammad did no longer have this needed style of evidence to be waiting to persuade the persons with. Jesus got here to no longer abolish the Mosaic regulation yet to fulfill it. Jesus introduced interior the hot Covenant that became prophesied. The Quran is distinctive in that for the time of spite of the actuality that it does contain many truths from the Bible, it additionally contradicts a number of its different truths. It denies the truths approximately Jesus, and his teachings. there have been others who've had claimed to be the final prophet or perhaps announcing they are the Christ. the only thank you to comprehend is for each man or woman to carefully learn the Scriptures and look for the LORD for an precise wisdom.

Jews agree that Jesus was a great man and that he existed. However, they believed that the Savior would be a king who would ride through the gates. When they saw Jesus, a mere fisherman, on a donkey, ride through the gates, they dismissed the Savior theory because they expected a worldly king, not a lowly fisherman.

Muhammad over 500 years after Christ and rejected Jesus and Christianity, as well as Jews, not the other way around. Jesus founded the Catholic Church. Muhammad considered Jews,Jesus and Christians infidels and called for their beheadings.

Jesus came to pay for and preach salvation to the Jew first and then to all the rest of the world. Many Jews have accepted Jesus as Messiah and many more will.

Muhammad's book fails the test prescribed by Jesus's disciple John (i.e. denies Jesus's deity). This is reason enough to reject him.
