That would be absolutely NONE of your business, nor that of anyone else. Just as it was NONE of that woman's business when she asked YOU that utterly stupid and invasive question.

Good morning. If I were to die right now, I would go to neither Heaven nor Hell, Princess Angela. First, parts needed for transplants would be removed, second, my remains would go to a major teaching hospital to be put to anatomy students, and, third, what was left would be cremated. I do not wish to offend, beautiful young woman, but as an atheist I am of a mind that Heaven and Hell worked wonderfully well two thousand years ago, to scare the hell outta the illiterate masses, but, hey, this is the 21st-century!

I give you a third choice...neither. Since heaven and hell are both mythologies, I propose that when I die, I will rot. I will not be aware anymore. My "spirit" or consciousness will have stopped when my brain ceased to function. It will be just as it was before I was born. I find this to be infinitely more comforting than either the heaven or hell hypothesis being proposed.

" If you were to die right now, would you go to Heaven or Hell? ", I'd say no. I don't think ether is very likely a real place.

It is worth while, wondering about if what you've done is ethical or not, just don't waste to much effort on the imaginary concept of sin and supernatural punishments. Be good by doing good. It's not a bad way to be happy. Good luck.

I do everything I can, the best I can, as I read the Bible as saying. But Jesus said that when the time comes for him to judge us there will even be church leaders that think they are perfect; but are far from it. And he'll send them to hell. So we do not know. I keep reading my Bible and I keep finding places that most religions are not obeying today.
Be careful.

depends on who's version of heaven and hell you're refering to. Traditional speaking? Heaven without a doubt which makes it a stupid question unless you're refering to a specific type of non-traditional heaven and/or hell.

We condemn ourselves, and my secretary pointed out the other day that I call myself an idiot once in a while and that I shouldn't do that. I guess St Paul said it best: do not judge others, don't even judge yourself. (I kind of paraphrased that, but that's the gist of it.)

This same subject came up concerning St Faustina's vision of hell (circa 1932) Here's a link regarding some thoughts on it.

Since neither Heaven or Hell actually exist, I don't suppose I would go to either.

But if you're asking me to place myself in the Fairy Tale, I would say that I would go to Heaven if we are judged by works, as I am a fairly good person, and I would go to Hell if we are judged by faith, because I don't need a Personal Lord and Savior...I'm doing just fine by myself.

I would go to neither. Death is final. When you die you cease to exist, end of story. No heaven, no hell.

I'd be worm food, just like everyone else.

But if they existed, I'd be partying in Hell with all the other fun people. Much more interesting than brain-washed adoration.
