if you have other symptoms it could be your thyroid. i was diagnosed with graves disease and that was one of my symptoms no matter what i did i stayed thirsty. i carried a bottle of water with me anywhere i went. after being treated it slowly went away. i also couldnt handle the heat at all. just check with your doctor. have him run tests for diabetes and check your thyroid.

more then likely it is nothing but diabetes has a symptom of thirstiness. Doesn't mean you have it, there are more symptoms then that. Just letting you know.

Well first of all what are you drinking to get rid of the thirst?
If it is water then it could have something to do with diabetes or dehydration seek medical advice if it continues. But if you are drinking pop or juice then stop it and drink water that is a thirst quencher unlike anything else

Make sure you lessen your sodium/salt intake and stay hydrate (water not soda or gatorade, etc.) Are you peeing like normal?
Otherwise you should call a dr. and set up blood work. Could be a number of things: diabetes, virus, brain stuff and more.
Good luck!

Are you also going to the bathroom a lot too? Maybe it's diabetes or u could just be dehydrated, that's probably what it is.

your body could be telling you that you are dehydrated, or it could be telling you you have diabetes. suggest that you drink at least 2 liters a day to hydrate yourself, and if there is a history of diabetes in your family you should get a fasting blood test to find out if you share than propensity.
