Of course they would. What's scary is this. Crazy people who happen to be in a high social stature hear these divine interventions and actually have the power to fall through with them. They do, and it's not good. The concept of god is good until you actually apply it into society.

This makes no sense for we couldn't create a flood if we wanted to.We are commanded by God to help those in need, share the Good News of the Gospel.
As Christians God would not ask us to do what He can do with a storm. We are not here to destroy but to give hope and be a light for the lost in a dark world. Not everyone will follow the light the Bible says so . However, we are commanded to obey God and where ever He sends us we should be willing to go.
He has His reasons for everything even when we do not quite understand at that moment why..He eventually reveals it in the end. God promised that the earth would not destroyed by a massive flood His rainbow is a sign of this promise.
Your enemies are not Christians and I would not worry about God telling Christians to do such things. Besides..Jesus has the power to speak a flood into existence without our help if needed.
I hope that these radicals don't accuse Christians of having anything to do with Britain's flood and New Orleans.

Then we would know it isn't Jesus, since God promised Noah that He would never again flood the whole Earth.
On top of that, the only one who can create such a flood is God, so the real Jesus would never ask someone to do that.
Finally, when Jesus does return, a flood would be the least of anyone's worries.

Jesus wouldn't do that, because of the new covenant God made with man. God promised after the Great Flood of Noah's time that He would never again destroy the entire Earth with a flood, or use water as His retribution. Sure, floods exist now, but they're not God's doing, they're nature.

Hmm... Do you have voices telling you to do destructive things?
If so, it is not the Holy Ghost, nor Casper the Friendly Ghost.

Of course not.
I know His word, and such an order would go against what He said. He does not contradict Himself, so it would be clear this was not Christ.

When Jesus returns for us, we're going to heaven.
We wont have time to create anything.

I think He'd have to give me the power to do it, since I don't have that kind of ability.
