this really depends upon what the problem is in your hips. if it's inflammation Take anti inflammatory medication. If it's a joint problem see an orthopedic or chiropractic doctor.
Take a hot bath with 2c. of dissolved Epsom salts. Soak for 30 minutes. The Epsom salts will help eliminate Toxins.
Massage an analgesic cream into the sore muscles.
Dehydration can cause severe pain. I recommend you drink purified water mixed with mineral water 50/50. This will replace the minerals that are exiting your body continuously.
I suggest that adults and children drink 40 ounces of water per 100 pounds of body weight every day.

Take Glucosomine withChondroitin and MSM(all one tablet) By from Health Express on line as the are much cheaper that the Health food shops. Buy the 1000 or 1500mg tablets in 360 sizes. Also take Omega 3 oil but be careful with it as too much can cause itching skin and flaking of skin. Start off with low dosage 3 times a week but be aware of any side effects. Best of luck as this all works for my bad knees.
