Gather round children, and lets put our hypothetical hats on.

Lets say, for arguments sake, A god (not THE god, just a random god) created the world and it's features.

Good lad, not a bad job.

Now, for arguments sake, lets just say it's Allah (alphabetically he's just first in line, that's all, he got dinner first too).

So, hurrah, Muslims are laughing when it comes to the big day, they've all been worshipping the right guy for years, good for them.
But that means, the OTHER gods definitely don't exist doesn't it.

So, is it fair to say that assuming you religious people are right, (and maybe you are?) then it's acceptable that you're own god is every bit as likely as the next to be entirely ficticious come your day of reckoning?

How do you feel about this? Does it bother you that even if the Atheists and Agnosts are won over, and accept that a deity created the world, there is still collossal doubt that it was the one you believe in?

Muslims, Jews and Christians believe in the same God, though having different understanding as to His nature, so your question is based on a flase premise.
Also, as the Christian Gospel gives such fulfilment in this life, even if were wrong about the next we still have the best of the bargain.

Yes. If one God does exist then all the rest that contradict it/him would have to be wrong. If the Buddhists are right then Christians and Muslims etc are wrong and vise a versa. And it would be degrading to all beliefs to say that they all can be OK. If the Buddhists were right and the world worked by Karma then Jesus' teachings on grace must be wrong.
So you cant go round saying all religions are equal (unless they are all wrong)

Does it follow that all gods must be equally possible just because all are possible to some level? No. Just because two things are possible doesn't make them equally so. So when deciding if there is a God and which one of the possibilities he/it is you must critically look into them. Is there evidence for / against, does it actually make sense of the world, is it contradictory.

I personally believe this is the most important question we face. The conclusion will be the foundation of your existence.

I believe that the God that is Jesus is the true one. I have critically look at what he says and how he acted (and still am) and think that he spoke the truth and backed it up with his actions.

In summary (sorry about the length), Only one God can exist. there are different claims to what that God looks like but they are not all equal. I feel confident that I have made a rational and logical decision and am confident in my conclusion.

As an atheist, I like to point out the Christians, Muslims etc that they are atheists too, I just happen to disbelieve in one more god than you disbelieve in!
