Seriously, who decided to create a pretty good premiss for a show, and then populate it with a bunch of berks?

I enjoy it, as do other people I know. It is currently on in Australia for the first time. We've seen about 5 or so eps. I liked the previews that were shown over summer and thought I'd give it a go. When I discovered it was a spin-off of Dr Who I was a bit sceptical on if i'd like it or not as I've never watched that, and frankly didn't like the sound of it. But I watched it anyway and really liked it. I love Cap'n Jack. I took a couple of eps to warm to Gwen, but I like her now too. It's certainly no Buffy or Charmed, but it's very watchable.

Most people I know seem to enjoy the show.

There were a couple of episodes that weren't as good as the rest, but overall it was pretty good.

The K9 series was a bit rubbish, but was meant for five year olds, so fair do's.

Still, if you're really immune to the charms of Captain Jack, Gwen et al, you don't have to watch it.

The new series does not even start til Jan '08 so I dunno why you're complaining yet... unless there are repeats currently being shown... are there????

And it's spelt "premise"

It has not started on BBC America yet. Due to start in August. I was looking forward to it. Ads make it look good. Seems like expansion of Dr. Who story. Is it really that bad?
