The world should have already ended hundreds of times, don't buy into that crap. Either way, even if you knew, what the hell could you do about it anyway?

This is like the Y2K scare that started about 10 years ago. Or it's like the Global Cooling scare that was around in the mid-70's.
Here's a better one: the world will end on Jan 1st, 2048. Everyone knows the 1K in computer code is 1024, so the REAL Y2K will be in 2048. Yep, 41 years from now.

The Mayan calendar does not say the world will end on that date.
It's an epochal roll over.
Does the world end every x000 years? Or every December 31?
Of course not. We simply reach the end of our ability to denote that given unit of time and roll over the calendar -- either to a new millenium starting x001 (2001, 3001, etc...) or to a new year (Jan 1.)

Don't believe it, it could happen but think of the scare of Y2K. People freak out a lot because of change or prophecies. Don't worry and live your life because even if it does end 12/21/2012, at least you can say you actually lived.

No, it isn't.
A cycle of their calendar ends that day, but the calendar doesn't and no prophecies are associated with the date.
Its a bit like centuries in our calendar. The 20th century ended, but the world did not.
This is a common myth of absolute ignorance.

when the koreans predicted that the world would end on some Oct 28 years ago, did it end? the truth is no one will know. not even the Angels...
but if you have the right relationship with the BIG J, you don't need to worry!
why not read the Bible and try to find answers?

The world is going end on any given day by all forms of people. When it finally happens about 10 people will be like I TOLD YOU IT WOULD HAPPEN BUT NO ONE WOULD BELIEVE ME! Well, dropping on a random day would make people technically correct but unfortunately it wasn't a premonition, just chance. Sorry.

Do you want to bet me $10,000 it ends then? Put up or shut up! A calendar cycle ends. If the Mayans were still flourishing, they'd start a new cycle. It is that simple. Why would anyone believe such primitive people knew such things as when the world ends? That is dumb!

no religous scripture has said that. it says a new world order will be rolled out. the old world order will be rolled up. so dont be confused by these hocus-pocus mumbojumbo clergys
