we broke up about half a year ago, but just now i am starting to put the pieces together.. we were together for 2 years, yet the entire relationship seemed like a progress. There was always a problem, always a fight, or he was breaking up w. me just so that he could "take me back"as his sick way of making me feel "special". He physically abused me a few times. He cheated on me multiple times but lied about it (once we broke up he bragged that he cheated on me 40 times) he is on antidepressants and aderol for god knows wat? often times i would go2his house&listen2him sob2me for hours about how sad he is. He is wreckless(just got a speeding ticket for going 140, just got a DUI for going 130, does coke, got a fake ID, drinks every day&every night, gets on anybody with 2 legs) when he broke up w/ me, he said "now that i have my meds*antidepressants* to make me happy, i dont need u anymore" & that was the end of it (he tried hooking up w/ me seconds after he brokeup w/ me when i was crying?

if you have broken up with him, it doesn't matter what his issue was, or is, you've broken with him. And a good thing too, because he sounds more like a sociopath than a simple narcissisist. Now for your own mental health, you need to put him in the past and forget about him, try to avoid guys like him in future, and having experienced him you should be able to spot the signs in others. Frankly, I wouldn't have put up with any of his antics, especially if he assaulted me, he would be cooling his heels in jail.

Narcissism is incurable.
These kind of people never feel guilt. They are always justified for anything they do and are never at fault. They are superior to anyone else. They have no doubt that anything they do to another, even to abuse, the other person made them do it. When they cheat, it's because of something the other person did, so it is justified.
They never can admit to wrongdoing.
You made me do it.
They are expert at manipulating and can/will always make the other person feel guilty for causing them pain and doing whatever they do.
This is not something that they know and just will not admit. They know that they are in the right and no doubt ever enters their mind.

I married one and I knew a psychiatrist who was married to one. She knew there is no cure.

You, anyone, do not need them in your life.

Run, don't walk.

The first thing I thought of when I read your post was the story about the dog with three legs, one ear, blind in one eye and his name was "Lucky". What does this guy have to offer you besides a lifetime of pain and suffering? Do you really want to be manipulated by someone with so much baggage? He is NOT going to change so you have to decide if you want your future to be full of more of his antics. Get as much distance as you can from him and get yourself into a healthy lifestyle. best wishes
