I want to redesign my room-mostly to make it look more 'old fashioned'(like Victorian, or an old country style-kinda like the style of the house in 'Practical Magic')and simple. The thing is, my room is 7 feet wide by 11-and I just can't think of a thing to do with this size a space! Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Well, Victorian always say's "clutter" to me- I always think of little old ladies with nick nacks and floral wallpaper which can make an already small room look smaller... I"m not sure what kind of furniture you already have, or what you are looking for- Victorian is kinda a hard one in a cramped space... Maybe you could modernize it. . A bit. Maybe use some type of floral wallpaper on only one wall and paint the other two walls a coordinating color.. When I think of victorian I always think pink I don't know why.... I think of an iron lamp with a frilly shade and picture frames with sillouhettes inside.. Dark wood furniture w/ lots of curves... Like a sleigh bed.. I don't know I'm just throwing it out there... Good luck

I think you have to stick with casual but include "homages" to Victorian because it's a small room

>What subject could it extremely is? no longer likely confident. >What shade(s) could you have? crimson, black, and white > What could you have in it (furnishings)? mattress, of direction, a small settee, fabric wardrobe, television, edge table. > Why could you layout your room this manner? because of fact crimson and black are my sought after colours and that i extremely want all the furnishings that I positioned down different than for the television.
