I have always heard eating raw eggs is a fast way to increase protein intake(im trying the bulk up). However im a little concerned that eating raw eggs can lead to salmonella.
Does a hard boiled egg have the same intake value as a raw or scrambled egg?

You should never eat raw eggs regardless of what anyone might say. There are better ways to bulk up then taking the chance of eating raw eggs and becoming very ill. The only way the eggs will change in calories is by what you cook them in or mix with them. A hard boiled egg and a fried egg in a non stick pan without any butter (maybe use Pam)will have the same caloric content just a different way of preparing.

Raw eggs could produce problems to your digestion system as well. It is definitely not recommended. That is almost like eating raw meat for protein. The shell will keep most of the nutrients in the eggs, so I would hard boil. Cooking does change the nutritional value of foods. That is why raw veggies are also recommended in a diet.

raw eggs is a myth. And unfortunately, since most chickens are raised in close proximity and we ship them across the country the chance for salmonella is higher than back when Rocky was doing it in the 80s. There is no difference as far as quality and available protein in cooked eggs vs raw. Check out some muscle mags and none of them will advocate raw while they all show meal plans involving egg white omelettes and such. Chicken and rice is a good staple if you are looking to build lean mass. And small meals 5-6 times per day is a good way to burn fat and gain mass.
