That suit will help you sweat like a pig. The loss can be several pounds a day. However as soon as you get thirsty and drink some water it will come back even faster. There is no long term loss from that. However there is a risk of dehydration and heat stroke.

If you just want to get to a specific weight for a weigh in it can help on a temporary basis. But hurry to get that fluid back.

yea loss is all sweat and salt. id say you could lose 10-20 lbs within an hour of heavy cardio. however this is all water and there will be no permanent fat loss.

also make sure you rehydrate slowly once youve weighed in.

this is not something you want to do unless you have a match(boxing, mma) or rowing regatta.

a healthier way of dehydrating your body, if there even is a healthy way, is to slowly dehydrate yourself.

5 days before a match, reduce water intake by 1 cup per day.

so day 1 - 7 cups
day 2 - 6
day 3 - 5
day 4 - 4
day 5 - 4
morning of dont drink nething or sip on 1 cup of water until weigh in
