5 Minutes before it closes. Usually all the cashiers and clerks are working at that time and it moves very fast.

what is best day/time to go to DMV?

I like to go on Wednesday or Thursday about 2. Most people are working and the Monday and Friday "rushers" have finished. Most the clerks are back from lunch. For Bert, it's the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) everywhere I have lived.

Lord honey its hard to say, usually DMV is a nightmare no matter what time of day it is. Especially in a big city, but if you go right when they open you should be fine. Good luck.

DMV is always hectic no matter what. I think the best time to go is usually right when it opens or right before it closes. NO matter what, it sucks period

Mid-afternoon in the middle of the week -- but never during the first 2 or 3 or the last 3 or 4 days of the month. If you live in a major city there's probably no good time -- head out to the 'burbs if you can.

dude its so easy, i just took it. Half of the test is questions on road signs, and there multiple choice too. Then the other half is basically common sense. All you have to get is a 70, don't worry about it.

Middle of the week, middle of the month. Avoid first week and last week of month. Don't go at lunchtime, everybody else tries that too.
