Nature has no conscience. If global warming is natural, and it gets warm enough, it will kill with no mercy and we can do little to change it. If it is man made and we cannot turn it, then nature will take over and kill with no mercy.

The killing will continue until a natural balance is achieved.

Nature always wins in the end.

It has already had an impact on the population by killing large numbers of people. The World Health Organisation worked out the figures and concluded that currently 150,000 people a year are dying because of global warming with the figure set to increase to 300,000 a year by 2030.

By 2100 there could be a million deaths a year meaning that in the 21st century over 50 million people will have been killed as a consequence of global warming.

Global warming created by human pollution as you envision it is just a minor issue. Global warming will not only reduce the population, but will decimate it. As the Earth heats up it will get so hot that humans will not be able to generate food. Places that are now crop lands will become deserts. This is a serious issue and not just an on the side natural event.

Take care,
Troy

No... The Earth is not a Disaster Movie.... Global Warming could, in fact, be more beneficial than harmful... no one really knows or can know.... But the converse to your question has already been seriously suggested... that is to reduce the Human population by 90% to save the Earth....

The issue has been too clouded with misinformation, supported by biased studies for both sides of the argument. Global warming, if it exists, will eventually cause the earth to become intolerable to most, if not all, humankind. Population is out of control, too. Hopefully we'll peacefully wipe ourselves off the earth, so far as other species are concerned, and the earth will be better able to support the critters who don't harm her for something as worthless as human "money". We can only hope. ;-)

Define "help". It will totally control population eventually, it is starting already. Crop failure will be the most helpful, especially if vast quantities of food are burned in cars. Every little bit helps.

I think the living earth will destroy us before we destroy her, we forget who our master is and on whom we depend entirely for our existence

Joseph C - What evidence do you have for your accusations (the climatologists, the other side, DO have real evidence.)

BOTH the global warming "problem" and "population control" are liberal myths.

Everyone should forget about this nonsense and start concentrating on our real enemy that wants to destroy us, or these ridiculous liberal lies could pose a threat to our national security.
