are spoiled and over indulged.... Less and less parents are able to stay home with their children and teach them values and morals. The responsibilty is left to caregivers and education teachers that are also trying to teach the basic educational fundamentals... Also the decline in going to church means that children aren't getting the religious fundamentals as well. Less time is spent with parent/children so it's easier to just buy them what they want without having the children work or earn these things... Children turn into bored adults that lack responsibility and skills necessary to hold down a job. good luck

crime isn't from discipline-crime is from parents not being there-on drugs, etc and that usually stems from very low income families/cities. They don't know any better or do not have any other options.
I would say that would be the government not taking care of their own people but yet spending billions on war

People think that this is a free country and they can get away with anything. When this may be a free country but there are quite a bit of laws we have to follow because freedom wasn't free. People had to fight for it and I don't understand why people think that they can get away with everything because chances are they'll get caught. I mean we only have law inforcment everywhere.

US crime rates are actually declining.

Of course, the population is growing -and- new laws are being added all of the time, so it all balances out in the long run, really...
