I dont believe in the trinity & I'm certainly a Christian.
Of course the trinity isnt the essence of Christianity, where does it say that in the bible? Why would God leave even the word out of the bible if he wanted us to believe it? If it was true then he'd leave us in no doubt. The truth is that it was introduced at the Nicean council many years after Jesus walked the earth

To be a Christian, you have to be a follower of Christ. The Trinity is a pagan doctrine. Jesus did not believe in the Trinity, he was born a Jew and they are Unitarian.

True Christians don't believe in the Trinity.

Well the Bible it self has never spoken as God as Trinity The Bible has spoke of God the Father, and God the Father comming to Earth as as sperat entity as the Son Jesus Christ and Upon the Resursection of Jesus Christ God comming back once again as a speatate entity as the Holy Ghost but neve one refere to all Three as Three in One which is the Meaning of Trinity a Term use mainly by the Catholic Religon (Cult) and God has a Number and His Number refrence all over The Bilbe is One so God is One Not Three, The Son Jesus Chris is one not Three, The Holy Ghost in one not Three. So Christians do not Belive in the Trinity also, but that all three The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost are of seperate entity

Of course you can!

There is no mention of the "trinity" in the Bible.

There are many Christian religions that do not believe in the trinity.

There are two parts to being Christian. There is faith in God and the divinity of Christ then there is the secular aspect in which western society has evolved. Many if not most of the secular aspects seem natural to you because as an ideology, it makes the culturally constructed appear normal.

As an example, unless you are vegetarian, you would think nothing of eating beef, pork or shellfish. You would hope that it is humanely killed and you would not require it to be blessed by a person holding religious office.

of course you can because the trinity is the invention of the roman catholic church which was founded by power hungry people to control the truth.
look at it this way if you read some of the gnostic gospels and tracts you can see why these so called heretics where mercilessly hunted down and murdered for having a different opinion.
all real christians avoid any church and know the truth in their hearts.

yes - then you will be a true follower of Jesus (peace be upon him) who never promoted or believed in the trinity. The early Christians believed Jesus (pbuh) was just a prophet of God who preached monotheism but the Catholic church extreminated them and imposed the trinity (which mixed pre-existing European paganism with true Christianity)

The best way in the modern era, to discover the truth of the Gospels and to understand them, is to take an Alpha Course of which there will be one at a Church near you, which you can find on the site. It is a non-denominational course held in a relaxed way...no pressures but questions answered.
http://www.alpha.org
Contrary to what some people (who are obviously ignorant of the truth on Yahoo answers) say, the Bible DOES describe the Trinity in the words of Jesus Himself.....
May you be thoroughly Blessed if you take the course and may you also be thoroughly Blessed if you don't.
Best wishes, Mike.

Is Jesus your savior? Do you have a relationship with him? Pray to God and read your bible, you'll get the answers you're looking for. Don't stress over the word "Trinity" Focus on what your bible says about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
