I don't think a 10 year old should trust ANYONE on the Internet (its too easy to lie). she should NEVER give information about herself because its very easy to find out information on someone. Even if she were to reveal her school, or town she lives in, with her name; that's enough for someone to find her.
A person's religion doesnt automatically mean they can be trusted; this goes for ANY religion.

A 10 year old girl should trust absolutely no one on the internet. Are you 10? Parent of a 10 year old? Either way, the question is either obvious or inappropriate.....

NO WAY..a ten year old should NOT be meeting new people on the internet, and should have parental guidance when using it..there are alot of sick-o's out there, that will use any means available to meet a little girl!

You have an obsession with 10 year old girls today, don't you? What's up with that? Should a 10 year old girl trust everyone who says, "tell me about witchcraft" (or anything else for that matter)?
Do you think she ought to trust those claiming to be pagans? Wiccans? Satanists? Members of the Church of Love? Muslims? Or is it just those claiming to be Christians who are not to be trusted?

Yesterday a young girl asked if she could get some info. on Christianity and a lot of Christians responded with email address and advice. This was a poor decision on their part, but of course Orion believes these few represent all Christians.

Absolutely not. Anyone interested in corresponding with a ten-year-old child, unfortunately, falls under the category of 'beware,' Christian, Atheist, Muslim, or otherwise. Assuming the interested party is an adult . . . what would they want with a kid?

Absolutely not. I don't think the age even matters, trust is earned and should never be automatically given. It has nothing to do with the Bible or Christians however. So, your point eludes me as you usually fall on the side of being a non-believer.

Uh, NOOOO! Predators that prey on children will use anything to try to lure them in. A 10 year old does not have the ability or experience to tell the real from the fake. Please tell her to NEVER ever meet someone she talked to on the internet!

No!!! A child should be taught not to trust strangers anywhere. Internet use should be supervised by adults.
