What could be causing this? I get plenty of sleep, eat healthy and always take a good Multi-Vitamin. Both legs are real achy. Thanks in advance.

Being low in potassium can cause achy legs. Make sure you are getting enough, bananas are a good source.

Dehydration can cause severe pain in the muscles. I recommend you drink purified water mixed with mineral water 50/50. This will replace the minerals that are exiting your body continuously.

I suggest that adults and children drink 40 ounces of water per 100 pounds of body weight every day. Realize that exercise, ambient temperature, and state of health affect the water needs of your body. One tip for athletes: it is healthier to drink a sports drink or water than fruit juice, soda, coffee, or milk during competition or active training periods.

I hope this helps.

If you have been doing extra workouts or walked a lot or any other type of strenuous exercise that could cause the aches and pains. if you are dehydrated that would cause it too. OR if you have a history of varicose veins in your family you might want to see your doctor, have it checked out.

You know, I started having this exact same problem after I had my first son, 2 years ago. It turned out that it was a weird symptom of anxiety. I would get that and then after that, I started getting mild and then it turned to really bad panic attacks. I don't mean to scare you or anything but please take care of it before it gets worse. Take note of all symptoms you are having. It could just be arthritis.

Same thing happened to my daughter-in-law...her legs ached and ached, she finally went to the doctor and after several tests they found that her thyroid wasn't functioning. She will be on the thyroid medication for the rest of her life.

Are you getting enough exercise? Or have you recently had too much physical activity? Are you staying hydrated? Sitting too much or in a car or airplane for an extended period of time?
