The law isn't drinking an open bottle of alcohol in a vehicle, it's possessing an open bottle of alcohol in the vehicle. He is lucky he wasn't' arrested. The best way to get out of that fine is to pay it and not be stupid and do it again.

Maybe exchange it but not sure if you can return it. The best thing would be to do is call first b4 going there. I don't understand why you would return it unless you found it at a different store for a cheaper price or it was the wrong kind of alcohol.

Depending on the store,but it would not hurt to check.I believe that they do not allow returns,maybe an exchange.

no you can not take it back a lot has to with it being tapered with and the gov has rules on bring it back after it has left the store
