My boyfriend asked me to marry him and i said yes but im only 16 and we are waiting for 3 years am i too young?

Here is what I think,How long have you been together?,Marriage is meant to be a long term commitment,have you experienced enough of life and relationships before/if you decide to go ahead,just ask yourself that question.I don't want you to think negatively,but just take all that into consideration,Good Luck :)

No. Have a nice big pink day - you can look like a cheap tart and get lots of presents from the cheap shops and everyone can get drunk. I mean - thats what getting married is all about isn't it? 16!! P L E A S E - get out of nappies before you try to be grown up!
You will have years and years in the future to hate the day you did it.
Right now - do whatever you like.
Who cares?
You will just be another statistic in the divorce courts.
Enjoy your day in the spotlight dear - when you hit twenty you will look back and cry! Maybe even louder than the batch of brats he'll leave you with.

you need to stop and think about what you are doing i am saying that you are to young . if you love the guy then why are you waiting for three years so you will be 19 all of things can changed in the years i should know i went thriugh it my self

If you are asking that question, then yes. I think that if you don't know in your heart of hearts that you're ready to take a step like that, then you're too young.

Of course you are!you have to run a life after marriage,it's not easy AT ALL!even people who marry at early 20's are at risk being separated eventually.at your case,you should wait at leat untill you are over 20.that's my opinon.

you barely experienced life by yourself, even waiting 3 years.
try to be somewhat established education and business. before you settle down, life is hard enough and even thou this is a dream come true, dreams change into nightmares very easy. be true to him and he to you. stay engaged to marry but why cant you then wait to your 25 and comfortable with yourselves
