i have my old license , birth certificate social security card, and valid military id will it be enough?do i need to show proof of insurance or proof i live in nj (my license is for nj)

NJ uses a 6 point identification process, so make sure you click on the link on that page to see a list of required identification documents. Be sure to also bring a $24 processing fee in the form of cash or check because the MVC doesn't accept credit cards.

Drivers license or license plates? The 3 States I have lived in, only require you to have the old drivers license. Many also require an eye test at the renewal process. Insurance papers are usually only required when you get plates for a vehicle.
