I believe that it says somewhere in the bible that when we die our body goes in the ground turns to dust and our soul goes to God, ok that being said,I believe that its demons think about it the devil and his demons are all over the earth and they hear everything we say, they even put thoughts in our heads. How else would they know about all of us. When people go to
a mediator to want to know if their loved one is ok or wants to tell them something, its the demons talking to them. These so called haunted houses that people go to and bad things happen its the demons they want to hurt the living thats why when people get deeply involved in weegee boards and sayonces they can get possessed because they are opening doorways for the evil spirits to enter and they can take over our bodies. I know a guy who actually was possessed by the demon who called himself Legion for we are many. I'm not joking the guys forehead actually jutted out looking like Frankenstein and it stayed like that for weeks. It totally creeps me out. Hey Im just saying what I believe some would disagree but it does say in the Bible that the dead no nothing, loved ones come to the grave to grieve and talk but the dead do not hear they are asleep they no nothing. So as far as being able to come back and leave messages I'd say its demons. If you do incounter an occurance you can demand in the name of Jesus Christ for it to leave and not come back tell it its not welcome there.
Anyway this is just my opinion.

thanks for the laugh and no i dont believe in ghosts, i am an Atheist so if i was to say 'i dont know' i would have to say im Agonistic lol and im not cause i personally am sure there realy is no such thing and everythin to do with stories and not really seeing any proof i think is just the wonders of the human mind....personally and i bet i get bad votes caus i am sayin my personal opinion but hey if i do it kinda proves other things i think true as well lol
but anyway if i did see a ghost i wud have to see more evidence that i have not completly lost my mind or i may be hallucinating...but even then i prob wudnt belive it and think i am just mad or dreaming, i wud realy have to have proof from the ghost itself but even at the time i wud im sure like most be scared, purely because it is the unknown and anythin unknown we are often afraid of!
also what do u define as a ghost?

Yes, although I like 'apparitions' better than the word ghost. Our souls are energy and they save everything we do makes and energy 'imprint'.
I think there are cases where people don't realize they're dead and therefore 'don't cross over' which allows others to see or feel their energy.
I have witnessed some phenomena, though not much. I'm always interested in what others have experienced (the 'common' people) and love to hear their stories. There's just too much that can't be explained to deny that there's some type of super-natural occurences.

In Orthodox Christianity we support that after one's death, the soul of that person stays in this world for 40 days. Apart from that, I believe that apparitions do exist. (I prefer too the word apparition instead of ghost). I haven't seen something like that, but what do you know I'm very young maybe I will see something in the future. Well, my mother has witnessed the presence of an apparition. When her grandfather died , she saw him in the middle of the night in her room. She told me that he seemed very tall and all of his body was shining. And I believe her because she's my mother. I strongly believe that apparitions exist not as white things that fly and scare people by doing noises and stuff. They are like souls that come here in our world in order to tell their beloved people not to grieve, or in order to get revenge or warn somebody about something important.
