The three things you listed are the only things that keep me going. Without this love, I see absolutely no reason to live. When I was about 12, I felt as though my life was empty and needed to be filled with something. I tried more friends, better looks, popularity, money, a boyfriend, sports, TV, video games, you name it, and NOTHING I tried worked. I ended up in worse condition than I was before. I felt the Holy Spirit draw me to my barely-even-opened bible and start reading Matthew. Every insecurity, emptiness, fear, and anxiety was taken away when I accepted Christ. My life has never been brighter. Now once I finish High School, I'm going to Missionary College to be a missionary in the Middle East (I feel drawn to help Jews and Muslims find Jesus).
There aren't any words to describe how loved I feel.

I truly wished that i had read this post earlier in my day. I am reading it in the afternoon and still the Lord through the speaking of our brother is every so FRESH. His Banner over us is Love.. Such a stubborn.. abiding.. all reaching love. Even when we turned away from Him.. our Lord Faithfully prayed for us. Praying that we would have one little turn .. and oh my.. He will BE there.. loving us.. restoring our souls.. leading us once again in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake
Oh what a HOPE!! Oh what a blessed Hope.. Christ in us.. the Hope of GLory!!!
We are saved not only from eternal damnation ..but day by day we are saved in His Life... His life that He imparted to us to be our rich supply each day.
May the Lord be with all the dear brothers and sisters throughout the earth. Those who feel so discouraged.. those who are at the end of their strength..Those who are confused or broken...that HE will come in as the Sun Of Righteousness with healing in His wings.. and as the Good Shepherd to take care of the inner workings of our being...pouring the oil of the Holy SPirit upon our heads... guiding us in the valley....loving and feeding us with such a rich feast in His word...that we can be lead to drink of Him as the Spirit through prayer... laying us to rest on Him as our green pasture...
Hallelujah for such a WONDERFUL CHRIST who is OURS ETERNALLY!!!!!
Praise His name FOREVER
In Christ

Thank you SO much for the encouragement!
I also find encouragement in these verses....
" For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye search for me with all your heart." Jer. 29:11-13

Thanks for the reminder. Things have been kinda crazy at home - lots of tension. That reminded me that God really is there if we accept Him and believe.
Often, music encourages me and gives me peace. My brother has tons of good Christian music on his computer, and I listen to songs like "Agnus Dei" (Michael W. Smith) and "You were There" (Avalon) and "Three Days Blind" (don't know who sings it) and "You Raise me up" (Selah) and "The Great Divide" (Point of Grace) and "Just a Prayer Away" (Jaci Velasquez), to name a few. I love to sing, too, and it's pretty dang cool knowing that I'll get to spend eternity doing lots of singing ('cause we believers will spend eternity praising God). What makes me live is knowing that I don't have to be afraid of anything; all I gotta do is rely on Jesus, and I'll be happy for all eternity.

The bottom line is this, although I have Family and Friends in this life without Christ all would be meaningless,Family moves on and friends depart but Christ will never leave me, He is the rock and foundation stone under my feet that supports my entire being both physical and spiritual.
