Quite possibly. Although looks pay a big part in attraction, like mindedness is also a big factor. Getting to know someone by their points of view etc can be the starting point for love, after all beauty is only skin deep.

Yes, but there are always "pitfalls" involved in dating no matter what. If the person you are talking to is dishonest, someone who claims to be a "30 year old single male" could turn out to be a 59 year old married lunatic. If you ever decide to do this, never reveal your home address location, and always have your first meeting on "neutral territory" - like a restaurant, probably not even in the same town as where you live. I think there are probably more hazard for women doing online dating than men, but I don't really know for sure - the same bad things can happen to men as well when they are dealing with total strangers - especially ones that are not trustworthy. Possible, yes, but the dating scene is ALWAYS filled with potential hazards - internet or not.

no don't bother i use to do it then i realised how much of an idiot i was, don't bother you will never meet them, it is better finding somebody who is real and yes the Internet people are real but for all you know they could be like 60 years old!!!
Internet dating is sad i see many people do it which i will list the sites where i have seen this (i don't play runescape ant played for 2 years now)
I seen a boy and girl saying to each other before
"i love you"
"I love you to"
It was stuiped common really you are talking to a computer programme (I'm not a geek)
These are the 4 things which makes them not able to get a girlfriend in real life so they get 1 on the Internet;
1.They can't get one.
2.They will never be able to.
3.They have no life.
4.They are weak and dumb and they need mental help!!!
My friend done the same thing he is 13 years old now and he was going out with a girl which thanks to me i found out she was 20 years old. Yes i did have to try things to get it out of her.
At least he knows that I'm right and not to go out with people on the Internet!

Yes, I've met this WONDERFUL guy online, and we're going out now :), we live a long distance away, but we love each other, I'd give my life for him. Don't worry about it, if you're in love, you're in love, what counts is that u have feelings for this person. And if he loves you back, just go out, I'm not sure how, even i was confused with that (lol), but if you both love each other, you'll end up boyfriend and girlfriend, like me and my man!

Yeah sure. My friend found love off the internet and they where a couple for near enough a year. It works for some but not for others you just have to try it and see.

I don't think so... You never really know over the interent... Sure you could fall in love with the person who you think you are talking to... but they could be anyone lets face it

Nope! There's no touch, no little smiles, no smells, no little admiring glances, no CHEMISTRY which is vital, nothing like that....i know ppl r gonna say there are ppl they know that did but there r more unsuccessful stories than successful, they r the exception rather than the rule

Yes it's possible. You meet someone without having to worry about how you look or how they look. You get to know them for who they are and they like you who you are.
