I testify that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah (God) and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the final messenger of Allah (God) to all mankind!
It would seem that many have taken much aggression towards me because I have made the intelligent choice to worship Allah (God) alone. I believe there is no compulsion in religion. The right path is appearant from the wronge path.
Why is it that some people seem to take great offense to my worship of Allah (God) alone?

There are prophecies mentioned in the Torah and Bible about the coming of Muhammad (peace be upon him). Jesus (peace be upon him) even mentions him as the comforter who is to come after Jesus goes away (is risen up to Allah, unharmed)

Ok I'll admit that my phrase should have been that I came into Islam through the use of my intelligence and knowledge which I gained through reading various scriptures. I was never meaning to imply anyone not Muslim was unintelligent. As there are people of all religions and races and both sexes that are more or less intelligent than others. Allah (God) knows best!

I agree with you. Although Jesus(pbuh) and the Bible said that there is another prophet coming after Jesus(pbuh) which is Muhammad(pbuh)
I only worship Allah(swt)
You are going on the right path :D
EDIT: If anyone dislikes you, let them dislike you, at least Allah(swt) will like you :)

I don't see the reason why a person likes or dislikes another on the basis of the religion they choose. From the various Spiritual documents that i have read, one thing that i have understood is that every individual would find a God to suit his mood & taste due to the various attributes that the would portray in that form. Due to some reason, that person would find it comfortable with a particular God, be it Lord Vishnu, Allah, Jesus, Shree Ganesh, etc. The main thing is that whoever we worship, we all are directing our prayers to that Single Supreme. It is just like saying, water in English, paani in Hindi, mayia in Arabic, eau in French, etc, etc... Whichever language we use, water is Water. We use different names for the one & the same God.
As regards why do people take offence... the thing is that they do not realise that the Supreme is same for one and all. You say potato, i say PoTaTo. He is only one. For some, he is Allah, for some Father (as in Christianity), for some Lord Shiva, etc. Just contemplate on the Supreme, melt youself in his thoughts, do & think good, and do not critcize others for what their beliefs are as that wouls be the gravest sin anyone could commit against God.

I do not know why anyone would be offended. You are free to choose whatever path you believe. perhaps they fear what they do not know. Your testimony is yours no one Else's.And it should not offend .If I believe something else that is my right and it is my testimony. The bible says God chooses us ,so i do not think intelligence plays a big part in it . Great question though Jesus said the comforter has a name The Holy Spirit not mohammad.

i dont take offence or dislike to you for your worship of Allah in any way shape or form. i Fully respect your right to choose to worship anyone that you so desire . it is no ones elses biz .
however if you tell others that they are wrong and that you are right you may feel friction here as that is whats wrong with religion of any type. lets learn a little tolerance of others and see how much more we can do .
peace

Msha'allah! i do not know why people hate the fact that people enter islam. When a person becomes a muslim they can finally see like no-other can see. They live life like no one can live and they become a better human careing for and respecting the world and those around them. Now why must that seem bad to them?

On the contrary- I greatly like you because you testify that!;-) And as to why some people take offense, there are a number of reasons I think : Jealousy of your security in your strong, unshakeable faith, bigotry, narrow-mindedness,fear of either the unknown or the image of islam as portrayed by the vast majority of news stations, and sometimes through feeling hurt and bewildered by the actions of some who call themselves muslim but say and do totally unislamic things...All we can say is may Allah guide them to the straight path...Amen!

No, but because you have intentions to murder innocent women and children, and don't even give it a second thought.
It doesn't matter if you proclaim your life
to Allah or bugs bunny, quite frankly: the
problem here is that you have murder in your heart. Not everyone is stupid; and even though we don't know your identity and location, Yahoo does.
Homeland Security can determine the rest.

As you can see from the above, it's because those people feel just as strongly that their religion is the right one, and they believe that everyone should follow it.
They (unlike you, based on the way you've phrased this question) also seem to have the idea that insulting the religions of others is the best way to win them over . . . which is a bizarre concept at best.

Dear Brother,
Don't worry, as our duty is just to convey the message, not to force anyone.
Later on it is up to All Mighty Allah to choose any one for his blessing of guidance or leave them in the darkness of ignorance.
Muhammad pbuh use to say this sentence in almost every Jum'a (Friday) prayer sermon, "No one can guide the one, whom Allah wants to keep as misguided, and no one can misguide the one, on whom Allah bless His guidance".
It means the guidance of All Mighty Allah is the great Blessing upon someone.

They confuse their identity with their religion. It challenges their belief in the same thing, their choice.
When Islam develops religious tolerance that allows them to associate with non-Islamic people, allow public worship, rebuilding of churches and synagogues, public preaching of other religions in countries that are mostly Islamic, with no added taxes just because you aren't Islamic, I am certain they will like your choice even more.
Religious freedom and free speech is coming to Islam. It's wonderful.
