What is it like thier? is it co ed or just males... becuase i have herd both... is it a lot harder than others...all your help is appreciated

Sill isn't bad. Depends on what you like doing. Nice little college in Lawton. Dallas/Fort Worth is a couple hours away. Sill has been voted as one a best Army bases a few times. As far as staying 3 year is about the average anyone stays anywhere. Could be more could be less. If you are just going for training it will only be a few months.

Yes, I used to go there all the time when I was a little kid, that was a long time ago. I don't remember too much about the base, but I can tell you that their are a lot of "booms" and the ground shakes a lot. Fort Sill is the training center of the U.S. Army's artillery. Lawton, Oklahoma isn't a bad place to live. It's fairly close to Oklahoma city. It's been about 15 years since I've lived in Oklahoma however.
I can't tell you much about base life, sorry. And yes, Army posts do suck, I'm an Air Force dependant and the quality of life for Airmen as far as bases are concerned is much better, co-ed dorms for them is almost standard, that and having your own dorm all to yourself.

I was there twice. Once for AIT...advanced individual training. Then I spent 18 months there after a tour in South Korea.
As army posts go, it is a nice campus. As army personnel go, it sucks like any other military installation.

Its an Army Base so just take it from there and it is coed. I have been too a shitload of ARMY bases and they all SUCK!!!
