Say: 'O People of the Book, come to common terms as between us and you: that we worship none but God; that we associate not aught with Him; and do not some of us take others as Lords, apart from God. And if they turn their backs, say: 'Bear witness that we are Muslims’. (3:64) · They say, ‘God taken to Him a son.' Glory be to Him. He is all-sufficient; to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth; you have no authority for this. Do you say concerning God what you do not know? (10:68) · People of the Book! why do you disbelieve in God's signs, which you yourselves witness? (3:70) · People of the Book! why do you confound the truth with falsehood and conceal the truth knowingly? (3:71) all the cardinal doctrines of Christianity that are rejected by Islam center around the personality of Jesus. Specifically these are: 1. The Trinity 2. The Divinity of Jesus 3. The Divine Sonship of Christ 4. Original Sin, and 5. Atonement. It is clear that all these dogmas are the result of over-exhalting Jesus Christ above what God wants him to be. These differences focusing on the personality of Jesus have overshadowed the many similarities between Christianity and Islam. Some examples are the moral system and the emphasis on human principles. They have even over shadowed the beliefs that Muslims associate with Jesus Christ such as the Virgin Birth of Jesus, being able to speak in the cradle, performing miracles, and the second coming of Jesus Christ.

You better think again and think deeply. It is unfair to hold only one being responsible for all the mess.If God created all the things then you can't call them your own except may be as purchased, borrowed, loaned or on a lease and for that you have no proof either. There is a name for a person who possesses things which rightfully don't belong to him but I think I had better stop short of that.

"It is all God" the entire understanding of both question and answer in it's self wants both too understand what it is and what it is not. God, is in the process of evolution/development/change/replacement and substitute.
We think god as of matter and that it starts from something.
With in each of us we have this incredible knowing, and we just have just got to listen as then choice becomes more apparent.
"Truth knows Truth"
or we could just eat a chocolate Sunday and enjoy the day thinking of nothing in particular..

Sure God created the universe, but he also put scientific laws into effect, which sort of causes the universe to run on automatic pilot. Ofcourse God can intervene anytime he chooses. I feel that prehistoric man and animals evolved, but that modern man and animals were a creation of God's intervention.
...Sort of like genetic engineering, making animals and man "after their kind", that is after their prehistoric kind, and with man additionally having the image of God, that is a spiritual nature.

it has to be. GOD cannot have competitors. nor can there be 2 gods nor can there be satan. all this was created by the clergy to frighten the flock into obedience. there will be chaos if there's more than one god.
so god send messiahs, messengers, manifestations to remind humanity of his creation and of his being.
when a religion claims to be better than the other, that person who said so doesnt know the meaning of spirituality.
so please investigate the truth and seek the answers yourself. listen to the clergy and investigate every word they say. the answers are there and it has to be unravelled by the conscious seeker. so be careful. goodluck
