Many do attend Church for all the wrong reasons. Absolutely. But not all do that. YOu cant look at the masses and say all there are false Christians. Many of us go to church to worship God, learn more about God, and to fellowship together with like believers....... regardless to what anyone else is doing. Its not even about the other ppl, its between you and God. Dont judge them, just pray for them. Many are athiests, serving the devil and come only to bring problems, lies, confusion and division in churches. Even often a leader. But God says we know them by their fruits, ACTIONS. So just because someone wears a Christian label or goes to church, doesnt mean they are true Christian. Also , many do want to know God and they come for other reasons, and many think that if they go to church, thats it. NO. We must love God , believe Jesus is Lord and Saviour., repent of our sins, turn from them, and follow Jesus all the way. WE must obey as Jesus obeyed the father. And, for those that have never known Jesus or those that wont live as God said, and have impure motives, we must love them, but hate what they do, and continue to pray for them. THen , we must live the truth, speak the truth in love, but boldly, without fear or compromise, showing them that to be like Jesus is something we can do, if we will allow Him to work within our hearts and minds to change us. When we obey what we NOW know to obey, God shows us more, blesses us, and gives us power to overcome sin and have the desires of Gods heart, and not our own, meaning we can think go on to live a perfect life without sin just as Jesus did. BUt the devil doesnt want us to know that. He says it canb be done, and ppl just say BOY I KNEW THAT and no longer try expecting grace to cover all they do. Oh No. Grace will not cover willful deliberate sins. So dont judge us all by what others do. A true Christian is a follower of Jesus and there are many true Christians today in and out of church. BUt God wants us to be in church, studying and growing and learning together, to be as support and encouragement together. So we neeed to keep going and remember it is Gods church, not our own. CHurch is truly what is in our hearts, with the Lord. Are we truly His or not/????? That is a question we all must ask.

I think people who attend church are sincere seekers and believers in God. Many attend because they are very much open minded to the beliefs that so many people have.

Many do attend church for the wrong reason but the church has a responsiblity to help these persons find their true identity in Christ as they study and hear the word of God proclaim weekly.

Keep the faith. Don't give up. May you grow in God's grace.

Matthew 4:4.

Some people go to church to be seen and so they can impress others with what good Christan's they are. Some people go because they want something from the church - to get married there, they know a funeral is coming up, need financial assistance etc....
Some people, most who attend, actually go to hear the word. These are usually the same ones who are right there to pitch in when help is needed for something the church is sponsoring. Different people go for different reasons.

Going to church can be a popularity thing, but if you understand what the church is you will understand we cannot go to church because we are the church. God Bless

Some do, Some do not.

You can't make generalizations and say they ALL go for the wrong reasons.
