is it just me, or is this indigo/crystal child thing pretty "out there", and everyone thinks they or their child or both are one?

"The Indigo/Crystal phenomenon is the next step in our evolution as a human species. We are all, in some way, becoming more like the Indigo and Crystal people. They are here to show us the way, and so the information can be applied more generally to all of us as we make the transition to the next stage of our growth and evolution.

The Indigo Children have been incarnating on the Earth for the last 100 years. The early Indigos were pioneers and wayshowers. After World War II, a significant number were born, and these are the Indigo adults of today. However, in the 1970s a major wave of Indigos was born, and so we have a whole generation of Indigos who are now in their late twenties and early thirties who are about to take their place as leaders in the world. Indigos continued to born up to about 2000 with increasing abilities and degrees of technological and creative sophistication.

The Crystal Children began to appear on the planet from about 2000"

yogini - the problem is, that these children are being brought up being told that they have amazing powers and they're above everyone else. they are selfish, impatient and feel a need to defy authority. so saying it's ok if it makes them happy doesn't quite cut it because the rest of society is going to suffer having to deal with them.

It seems to me like an excuse for parents to allow their children to become overly-precocious self-centered brats.

The Patriots have been the team of this decade. it may purely be predicted that many all people is going to love a team while they make it to the Superbowl 4 circumstances and win it three times. many females like the team because of the fact Tom Brady is sweet looking and an outstanding QB. people like winners, and the Patriots have been winners. I even have observed many people additionally hate the Patriots, which additionally occurs while a team does properly. You get haters and bandwagon jumpers. It occurs continuously. After the Giants gained the superbowl I asked a woman I knew who became donning an Eli Manning jersey to call 5 Giants gamers because of the fact she became bragging with regard to the win. She have been given 2: Manning and Shockey. it particularly is common. What annoys me is as quickly as I get stated as a Patriots bandwagon jumper. I stay decrease than an hour remote from foxboro and characteristic seen their video games considering that i became little! Why am I an computerized bandwagon jumper because of the fact i like the Patriots? it must be that I stay in New England... all people is waiting for them to win for a pair motives. they did no longer do undesirable pondering the injuries they did have. 11-5 without Brady and approximately 11 different good notch gamers will harm a team. like it or no longer Belichick knows of what he's doing. Brady would be back, and is predicted to totally get better. They made key offseason signings, extraordinarily the two CBs they have been given. they actually have a ton of draft selections. beware for them this year. They have been a pair of minute remote from triumphing the Superbowl against the Giants. You act like they squeaked into the playoffs and have been given destroyed interior the SB. They have been somewhat on the factor of nineteen-0.

It takes a few good ideas, but builds it into an identity that is just another way to be "special and separate" regardless of whether you actually have any testable skills or knowledge.

I have been told repeatedly that I am, my wife has also gotten that treatment, as has our daughter.

I don't buy it. We are exceptionally intelligent with other skills besides.

Those are learned.

It isn't just you. It is a New Age thing, but what do you do? Hate them? Distance yourself from them?

Like atheists do with theists?

We have enough. I help them, anyone who wants it to explore their path, without preaching my own once they ask for help (here it is an open forum and my opinions are my own), and we explore their path THEIR way. In time, as they explore the limits of their belief, the sooner they get there, the sooner they see beyond it and can grow further, or leave behind something that doesn't work for them.

Unless you think you can convince someone out of their belief system?

My daughter isn't. She's worked very hard for the skills and knowledge she has, and she could lose it just as easily. Our children ARE precious, and every effort should be made to do what is best for them.

I agree, "Indigo" treatment isn't it.

I still read and learned all about it, anyway. I love my neighbors.

For most of us, the description of indigo and crystal children equates to "superior." So naturally parents want to see this in their kids.

However, there is another theory which says the reason for the bandwagon is that it is the truth: many more children are being born to these higher evolutionary states all the time. To what extent this is wishful thinking only time will tell.

I do have one specific caution. I read the crystal children literature to emphasize the collective consciousness. Being a libertarian myself, I wonder whether it is paranoia to suggest that this may be something we are being fed by the political left for its own nefarious purposes. Are we being conditioned to accept the idea of collective over individual in order to surrender our individual freedom, our civil rights, to those who claim to have indigo or crystal status, or to "understand" them while mere mortals do not?

It is something to watch with caution. If it is true, it may save the planet. But if it is false, it is a very dangerous falsehood.

while you are fully within your perceptive perogative to feel that way, its absolutely not nearly as "out there" for some people, as it might be for you.

part of the "thing" about the whole indigo/crystal theory is that its gotten extremely common recently, now, like MOST spiritual stuff, (... hell, most religious and spiritual everything) theres some degree of ... untruth,

now, from my personal experiences involving this particular issue, that measure is a ... small coating of exaggeration, dramatization. I can't see auras or anything, but do have a gross feel for energies and such... a couple times I've "detected" what I deduced to be what this system would call crystal, in some younger people. it was *very* distinct the few times I noticed it. theres just... no words for it that *I* can think of and I tend to be good at finding words for such things. but anyone else whos perceived what I mean, will know *exactly* what I mean.

anyway, its not *entirely* out there or made up from nothing. though I think the way some people see it/approach it, its a little dramatized and exaggerated.

I think particularly for the older group of "indigos" ... its a very subtle personality thing that most probably don't even realize is actually there, and/or do not identify it as such.

some will say its nonsense. but really its not, its just not always obvious.

but the collective effects are... or rather, will be,... signifigant.

aunt, thats not what the crystal thing is about.

basically imagine seeing a couple kids who can communicate minutes of discussion and explanation... with a moment of eye contact, once they have connected and realize their nature. not merely a form of telepathy, but... well, kinda like how I described, those who've seen things like I have, know what I mean, with a minor reference. imagine not even needing that. its just... wow.

which ones do you think are being brought up told those things? the ones who truly are, don't need to be taught that. its more that they need to be allowed to accept and recognize their abilitys and nature. the people who REALLY have it are *not* selfish, or "impatient" in the way that you mean it. its a whole different plane of thinking. its impatience with the world, with how slow time is for them. and defy authority? lol, if anythiing most I've dealt with have a greater respect for authority when its deserved, and an only have an utter disregard of it, when its unrightful authority.

personally I am neither. but I am relatively similar in some ways. my mother naturally had some gifts when she was young, but due to the time, supressed them, both my parents made a point NOT to make me supress mine. and I frequently find myself appriciative of that. so many people are hurt so deeply by things like my parents were afflicted with when they were young, its disgusting.

will *some* kids who really don't have any signifigant gifts, turn out to be brats from over-zelous parents being a bad parent using that hope as an excuse, sure. but that problem being there is a worthwhile "cost" when you consider that a bunch of other kids that would otherwise be greatly harmed by the opression of their nature, would be able to be who they are... its easy.

oh one might say "well its not been a problem in the past" well, there were no computers or internet 100 years ago either, does that mean that you shouldn't adapt to changing times?

until things change further than they currently have, coarse measures are the best that we're gonna get.

and you wouldn't like the finer measures ANYWAY.

LOL, thank you. I had no idea this was going on. What complete bunk! Also, what better way to manipulate a mark, as spiritualist are usual just con men, than to tell them that their children are gifted.

It makes me mildly ill, to think of people being bilked of their often hard earn incomes this way. I have the same low regard toward televangelist. The use of hope as a means to manipulate and steal from the Innocent is repulsive. Your exposing it is a service.

PS: Will we "Norms" have to ride at the back of the bus now?

It is just another way of making yourself or your child 'special' and the parents of most of these children do neglect their parental duties and encourage the child to be self centered and ill mannered. The mothers have a competition of 'my child is more psychic than your child' and it is obnoxious. I do not believe this and the woman who wrote the book starting this craze is not an authority...

www.indigolife.org and www.indigopeople.org two sites i set up for people looking for a grouping and find they gravitate towards indigo type characteristic . note the term indigo is a man made term and people within the indigo creditials listen on all indigo sights . small caution here dont make the mistake of grouping yourself because its more comfortable.
we are all unique regardless of what we choose to label ourselves with .
in essence its a word used to bring to the concsious . suboncsious thoughts that may have lain dormant ,

All children are special, there is no such thing of a Indigo child. People stopped paying attention to their children.

People want to feel special, but they don't want to bother actually becoming special.

It's essentially the same reason that people claim to have psychic powers or "a personal relationship with God". It's easier than studying, exercising, and working.

LOL with (not at) Pangel's response. Here's a thumbs-up, hon.
