Life is all about choices. If every time you are tempted to do something that a "good girl" might not do, ask yourself. "What are my choices? What are the possible consequences of those choices?" In general, that will keep you on track to being a "good girl."
Maybe it would help you make the correct choice by visualizing a Devil on one shoulder and an Angel on the other.
Self: "Should I have unprotected sex right now?"
Devil: "Go for it. This guy is really hot."
Angel: "STD's, un-wanted pregnancy."
Self: "Um, not tonite, after all."

If you are living at home with good parents, then following the rules of the house would be a good start. In school, focusing on your studies and being a good person to your friends and even the unpopular kids would be another way to be a good person in general.

The desire to be a good gal must come from your inner willingness to be just that - good. Being a good gal should be aimed at pleasing no one else but yourself. Therefore, look into your inner self and try to find out why you want to be good.
I would suggest that you listen to your inner being, list down your reasons. Its also important for you to have a personal definiton of what a good girl is.
Reading inspirational literature, keeping company of "good people", can help you because we are what we read ,listen to or the company we keep.

But in all seriousness your upbringing has allot to do with is how you were raised and the values that your parents have given to you while you were being broth up.
