My friend is geting Baptised too and shes around the same age. Shes planningon wearing a dress over jeans for the ceremony.

Well, God Bless her and you too. I would recommend some knee length shorts and a dark tee or blouse. There is some material now that dries really fast. If it must be a dress, be sure it fits close to the body and that it won't float up in the water. Good luck to you both!

A simnple dress which is good to be wet while being emerged to the river or water.Do not use transparent clothings.

usually jeans / t shirts but ours is done in a lake. i have some in shorts / tank top and bath suits. ask the church if they can advise as to what most people usually do. bring a towel !

Jeans would be ok, and as far as the top? wear a shirt thats not see-through when wet.
