I really want braces, and my teeth are basically terrible but my parents can't afford them. I live in Australia and I was wondering whether braces comes under Medicare or not? Please if you know any where or any way to get braces please tell. THanks

Try to enlist as a patient to Dental schools for graduate or undergraduate students. Usually, all student cases are treated free.

Medicare doesn't cover most dental work. The best thing is to get private health insurance.

I would recommend checking with the Medicare customer service section as well to find out and also check with your city's health dept to see if they offer orthodontic services to those that are in a tight situation when it comes to finances.
