Kittens often come with infections. You need to ask yourself about his behaviour, does he eat properly? is he playful? Does he act like a sick kitten or does he just have mucous in his eye and diareha? Diareha could be caused by the food you are feeding him, he might just needs a few days to adjust if you have changed his brand of food. The mucous could be a sign of infection but if there are no other symptoms then you don't need to worry at this stage. If your kitten has not yet had his vaccinations then maybe now would be a good time to ask you mom to take you to get them and then you could discuss this with the vet and let him put ur mind at rest.

If you don't want your kitten to die, take it to the vet. The discahrge of the eye is not something due to somethging getting in his eye. You need to get Tobrex eyedrops and put one in each eys for a week at least, 3 times a day. But the eye problem may indicate some other infection too, so the vet is necessary. As for the diarrhea, kittens often have them. It may indicate a serious disease, called panleucopenia, but usually it is due to the change of food etc. Buy Hill's i/d or Sensitivity or give him boiled chicken with a bit of rice. And don't get another cat if you and your mum don't realise that he must go to the vet for these problems. Really, if your mum does not accept this responsibility, you are harming the kittens, you are signing their death sentence. better to find another home for them.

The cleansing soap in all probability is high actually no longer a venture, as long as you probably did no longer get it in her eyes, and wiped it away thoroughly. If the kitten is that youthful, this is a staggering concept to feed her a minimum of partly KMR - a kitten milk replace. some supermarkets have it, or a minimum of a knock-off. day after today, you ought to purchase the authentic stuff - in all probability area 2, because she's waiting for weaning. it's going to easily be a lots extra elementary thank you to verify she gets adequate energy. in case you have a scale, get a baseline weight, and weigh the kitten each and daily to verify she's gaining over the years. it fairly is sluggish in the beginning up - you would be measuring in oz.. shop her heat and dry, now that think ofyou've have been given her sparkling. Kittens this age are extremely resilient. examine with some rescue communities or your close by humane society for innovations on low-fee pictures, fixing, and de-worming scientific care. Your kitten could want all 3 finally. numerous websites have extra great advice - google "raising orphan kittens" for extra advice as needed.

Cats often harbor a virus in their eyes, and often it is under control. When it flares up, they can get a discharge. Treatment is often trivial and inexpensive.
That your kitten has diarrhea is a bad sign, and it can quickly become fatal due to dehydration. Probably a cold, and simple and inexpensive antibiotics will take care of it.
You need to convince your mother to take your kitten to the vet.

You need to have your mother take the kitten to the vet. Diarrhea is never a good sign in kittens and they can dehydrate very quickly. It also sounds like he has an infection and if not treated can lead to serious health issues or death.

I have a kitten who is about 3 months old & my friend had her brother. Her brother had the same thing & passed it on to my cat. I took my cat to the vet & she had an infection in her eye. My friend didn't take her cat to the vet, he ended up dying. So take him to the vet.

I would take it to the vet. If it has diarrhea, he may get dehydrated and you don't want that. Has your cat been seen by your vet. It is important to keep your pets immunizations up to date. If you don't take him at least call your vet for advice!
