Allah(swt), the all high, explained the causes of the differences among Muslims. He says that the cause lies in the lack of wisdom.

(but their hearts are divided. That is because they are a people devoid of wisdom.)59:14

The remedy for weakness of the mind is to enlighten them by the light of the Quran. It is because the revelation guides the way to benefits that minds can not perceive.

(Is he who was dead[without faith by ignorance and disbelief] and we gave him life[by knowlegde and faith] and set for him a light whereby he can walk amongst men- like him who is in the darkness[of disbelief, polytheism and hypocrisy] from which he can never come out?]) 6:122

In this Aayah it is explained that a beam of faith brings dead minds to life. It brightens the path one can pass by.

(Allah is the wali[protector and guardian] of those who believe. he brings them out from darkness to light)2:257

(Is he who walks prone[without seeing] on his face, more rightly guided, or he who [sees and] walks upright on the straight way[islamic monotheism}) 67:22

There are many Aayaats to that effect.

when the Bible discusses ancient history, it states that this king lived here, this one fought in a certain battle, another one had so may sons, etc. Yet it always stipulates that if you want more information, then you should read the book of so and so because that is where the information came from. In contrast to this concept, the Qur'an provides the reader with information and states that this information is something new. Of course, there always exists the advice to research the information provided and verify its authenticity. It is interesting that such a concept was never challenged by non-Muslims fourteen centuries ago. Indeed, the Makkans who hated the Muslims, and time and time again they heard such revelations claiming to bring new information; yet, they never spoke up and said, "This is not new. We know where Muhammad got this information. We learned this at school."

They could never challenge its authenticity because it really was new! In concurrence with the advice given in the Qur'an to research information (even if it is new), when 'Umar was caliph, he chose a group of men and sent them to find the wall of Dhul-Qarnayn. Before the Qur'anic revelation, the Arabs had never heard of such a wall, but because the Qur'an described it, they were able to discover it. As a matter of fact, it is now located in what is called Durbend in the Soviet Union. It must be stressed here that the Qur'an is accurate about many, many things, but accuracy does not necessarily mean that a book is a divine revelation. In fact, accuracy is only one of the criteria for divine revelations.

so why you are looking to the Differences among the Islamic community?

we should be as ONE. so tell me something could help me in my life.

thank you

Didn't the differences just arise over the centuries, like christianity and judaism?

Surely if it's written in the Quran that there should be differences, then there shouldn't be a remedy because it's been ordained that way.....?

The following are the verses that talk about differences or the ways to mend fences between Muslims. I hope this answers your question.

[3.103] And hold fast by the covenant of Allah all together and be not disunited, and remember the favor of Allah on you when you were enemies, then He united your hearts so by His favor you became brethren; and you were on the brink of a pit of fire, then He saved you from it, thus does Allah make clear to you His communications that you may follow the right way.

[3.105] And be not like those who became divided and disagreed after clear arguments had come to them, and these it is that shall have a grievous chastisement.

[4.88] What is the matter with you, then, that you have become two parties about the hypocrites, while Allah has made them return (to unbelief) for what they have earned? Do you wish to guide him whom Allah has caused to err? And whomsoever Allah causes to err, you shall by no means find a way for him.

[49.9] And if two parties of the believers quarrel, make peace between them; but if one of them acts wrongfully towards the other, fight that which acts wrongfully until it returns to Allah's command; then if it returns, make peace between them with justice and act equitably; surely Allah loves those who act equitably.

Jazakallah khair for asking the questions.

it is how "people" interpret the Quran. the differences in Islam is no different than other religions. who to follow is always an issue. Islam faith believes in a singular God, the different branches represent different interpretations of who succeeded Muhammad. not who was God.

You don't need a Qur'anic verse to understand why difference exists in the world. As long as there is individual perspective, there will be difference of opinion. Seeing as all of us have different experiences, come from different cultures, and have different genetic makeups - individual perspective is the rule of the game. There is no way to fix that, and if the Qur'an offers a solution, then the Qur'an just disproved itself. Even if you get a group of people to demean themselves and accept someone else's notion of what Muhammad taught, there will still be other groups that will disagree.

The Sharee'ah is the answer. All communities must follow the Sharee'ah to be able to overcome this problem.

You will find it in Soorat Al Jathiya:

[45:18] We then appointed you to establish the correct laws; you shall follow this, and do not follow the wishes of those who do not know.
