Well I would imagine that even those who say that they don't do because its something that you should do in order to :-
Tell if your ill, blood in your "Stool" or Log as you put it is an indication to get to the doctors pronto as you could have a bowel problem that needs dealing with or a gut infection and if its digested Blood then you may have a bleeding ulcer for example that needs treating.
It tells you if your diet is balanced and if you have eaten too much of one thing, your Stool should be consistent and any changes indicate something may be wrong.
I found that I was building an intolerance to Organic / Fresh milk and now have to drink UHT because I would have bad stomach / Bowel pains and a dose of the Two bob bits, since the switch, It all good.
So next time your dropping the kids off as my Friend puts it, check it out, not pretty but surprising sometimes, especially when you know you done one and you see nothing in the pan, plenty of times the little buggers had enough momentum to follow round the bend. Self Flushes I call them, no need to pull the Chain, saves water, all good.
If you drink allot then expect to see allot of jobbies that are 1/4 inch wide and 4 ft long.
Happy Logging.

Some people might want to have a little giggle over your question, but to look at you poo is quite normal as you can tell how healthy you are, i.e rabbit poo could mean you have signs of dehydration and not enough veg in your diet, but i have to say i don't talk to mine but perhaps i should !!

There was something on telly about this a year or so ago. Apparently, most people do look; but don't admit it. It is some sort of psychological thing to do with childhood, but I cannot remember exactly what was said. I think it may have been Dr Miriam Stoppard who presented the program.

Of course. How else do you get to enjoy corn a second time? (I mean by looking at it).
Honestly, this is probably good, as changes could be an indication of health problems, so you should know what is normal for you. Talking to it is purely optional.

I always look.
Sometimes I'm proud of it!
I can always tell when I eat beets or corn.
And for some reason, the healthier food that I eat, the more volume I produce. I figure thats a good thing.

If when it came out it felt different, then I'll check it out. If it felt extra big I'll check before flushing, in case I think I'm gonna need the plunger. Sometimes I even poo so big that I'm hungry when I'm done.
I guess as long as your poo doesn't answer you, you're still sane.

I usually look at it to see how good my digestion is. It's a good way to see if there is some problem with my health. I never talk to it though.
