I would hope so. I am a little embarrased that you spelled accept as "except."

Yeah, I do get pretty annoyed. I also get annoyed when I hear/see people use the "if we evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys" argument. I quit using that when I was like eleven.

I'm not sure if humans and apes had a common ancestor or not. I'm not ruling it out, but I'm just not sure.

However, there's enough evidence for what's commonly known as micro-evolution that it's pretty obvious that it's happened.

If you accept evolution, you are directly denying part of God's word. No, you can't interpret it in another way than what it says in the Bible because you're not taking God's word as it's told.
