when my cauzins cat broke its tail in there basment they put this plastic like whing over there necks wtf??? what is that

its to block them from biting the hurt area.
try it, put a lamp shade on ur head and try to bite ur butt, u wont be able to :p

I have no theory yet you're spectacular something is incorrect with little ones and oldsters today. Thank god i don't have a pool yet i be attentive to little ones are available my back backyard for all time. My husband has a truck and a set of different non baby friendly stuff interior the outdoor and there has been some cases when I even have caught extraordinary little ones from the neighboorhood i don't be attentive to enjoying on it and that i had to declare something. the place are the mummy and dad? i could by no skill enable my little ones run around unsupervised...no longer to point knock on some neighboors door without my awareness or permission. what if the neighbor took place to be a pedophile? human beings are loopy and uncouth presently, heavily. i'm getting the place you're coming from.

The Elizabethan collar (it has several names) keeps a cat from getting to an area that's injured so they can't hurt it further.

Works for dogs too.

It's called an "Elizabethan Collar" and it prevents the cat or dog from biting the stitches. They hate it, but it's for their own good. (Famous line, huh?) It's named for a collar that was worn by royalty centuries ago in England.

If you are referring to the plastic gizmos that look like funnels they are called "Elizabethan Collars". The purpose is to prevent the animal from licking surgical incisions, injuries, stitches, etc..

It's to keep the animal from scratching or biting the wound. In this case, it would be the tail.
