Oh Amb *hugs* Welcome back. We've missed you lots. First off, you're no longer a **** if you admit it. It's never too late to change, no matter what happens. I don't know your life, so this advice might not be 100% accurate. But you're obviously not over Vince, and therefore not ready to start with anyone new. You don't *have* to be with someone, Amb. Have you tried being alone yet? If you've been been being a ****, then you haven't. That's not the way to get over someone. I would say put everyone on pause until you're happy just being Amb. You can't make a two person relationship work until you make the *ONE* person relationship work. Go in steps. Second, If I've learned anything, if you weren't happy with Vince the first time, you won't be the second. There was a *reason* you ended things, Amb. He's just being selfish by doing this to you. He wants *himself* to be happy, and by doing that, he's compromising what *you* need out of a relationship. About James, I don't like him...Maybe it's just because he's a Marine like my dad was. I pretty much hate my father, so you should ignore this little rant because I'm very biased when it comes to that. If Jake is your friend, then he'll wait until you're ready. No rush to decide there. Garrett sounds better. But honestly, I think you should be alone for a while to think. Do you love Vince, or are you dependent on him? I've had to watch my mom, aunt, and sister go through abusive relationships. And you know what, they're still in them, but they're unhappy. That isn't love, its addiction. Vince might not be abusive, but remember how things escalate. Maybe it's time to break it off now, because the next time will be 400% more difficult Keep me informed, Amb. Yes he could be shy but on the other hand it could be taken as an insult. If someone is attracted to you, it wouldn't matter if they were sober, you'd get it on anyway.
Getting drunk can also be used as an escape clause. If you regret it the next day, you can blame it on the drink. Kissing's much better when you're sober anyway saves on awkward teeth clashing lol ;0)

I think he has issues - and you probably shouldn't kiss him at all.
That sounds completely horrible to me. He might just be too shy or something, but never agree to only kiss someone once they're drunk, he should have the courage being sober.

a guy doesn't need to be drunk to kiss a girl... if he likes her, he will kiss her anyway - drunk or not.
The chances is now that he doesn't like her & doesn't want to kiss her - drunk or not :-D

I used to have a few drinks before I had sex with my ex boyfriend!! With my new boyfriend (now together 4 years) I dont need any drink at all!!
I would speak to him and ask him for the truth!!!!
If he is nervous understand and give him a chance, if he says he doesnt really fancy you then wash him right out of your hair!!!!!!

He may be too shy because he likes you alot, he could be an alcoholic, he could be saying that you are not very attractive...any way is bad. He might be a person who does stupid things when he's drunk.

It's not really a good foreplay line is it! if he needs alcohol to kiss a girl then he either has allot of issue's within himself or isn't really into you (really sorry to say that) but when you accept things as they are you will meet someone else who appreciates you for who you are & wont need alcohol to be into you, the guy sounds like trouble.

he is not actually aiming for the kiss, it's one way to have the courage to ask u to bed after u kiss him.
also when he is drunk his level of hornyness levels up a notch
