Pretty much out of the blue a few weeks ago I started feeling guilty about everything I do. I feel guilty about being myself and it's driving me crazy. Sometimes I think everything would be better if I were dead, but I don't have the guts to commit suicide.

There's people struggling, fighting just to stay alive, and you wanna die? Wtf. toughen up. You sound mildly depressed at the most.

Guilt and depression can go hand-in-hand. Your frame of mind is looking inward rather than outward to consider other possibilities.

Your thinking is serious. I hope you take it seriously.
Call a suicide/crisis hotline for someone to talk to.

Call information 1-411
or look at the Community Services page near the front of your phone book.

Then do your best to get some sleep. You'll feel somewhat better and can call your Dr. or a counselor in the morning for an appointment.

You seem to be a little depressed and hence you feel, your absence will set all things right. Even i went through this kind of situation in the past.

Develop a don't care attitude for everything and you will start feeling better. So what if things are not going as expected, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going!

Don't worry! Key sera sera....=)

It doesn't sound like depression, but you may be suffering with some other disorder.
If it is harming your life, you can ask a professional, otherwise I would say that you are probably nervous about something and need to calm down and realize that you have no reason to be constantly guilty.
