Tonight i went out with 2 of my korean friends to shoot some pool. After we were done, we went outside and we were confronted by a group of supicious looking koreans that were talkin to my friend about something in korean. Next thing happened was one of my friends that was suppose to give me a ride home told me to call my sister instead to get one. so i was like what the **** and decided to wait a bit. Afterwards they came back and started making my friend go buy stuff from the billiards place and giving back the stuff to the group of koreans....later on after they were all split up, my friend was about to come back to the car till another guy told him to come talk to them...next thing i knew, he brings his group of friends up to the other group of koreans and they started exchanging threats..such as using guns and stuff. So i called the cops and the operator told me to talk with them and point out the dudes making those threats..so i decided not to and bounced outta there.

an officer will contact you if needed.
rule of thumb for police- no victim no crime.
if all parties are gone when the police get there they do a property check to make sure it's all 10-1 (ok) and they leave.
if there was an arrest or a victim you might be contacted.
considering they strong armed your friend in to buying things he should have the police make a report- and if you whitnessed it you should have an officer contact you in reference to it.
your friend is the one who should be getting a police report
you might get one (if you have suspect info) for terroristic threatening

So what if they do contact you? What are you going to tell them, that a bunch of Koreans, speaking a language you didn't understand, apparently got your friend to but some stuff for them. And then some threats were exchanged.

Did a fight start, did anyone get hurt?? If not, don't sweat the small stuff. . .

well you're not saying if the cops came and apprehended anyone (if you know that info) but here is what we do in our dept........

since you are the RP (reporting party) and you left your name and number, we would call you for more information. if we had apprehended anyone at the scene and confiscated any weapons or otherwise, of course that warrants a report....actually the disturbance in general warrants a report if we catch anyone at the scene. we would ask you if you would be willing to give a VOLUNTARY statement which means you don't have to if you don't want to. we can also use your verbal statement as a supplemental report and include you as a reporting party and/or witness for record keeping purposes.

i never ever trust a situation where people start speaking in a foreign language where i can't understand what they're saying.....always a red flag. you need think about who you're hanging out with and where you're going.....

No. Unless you heard specific threats and those threats were later carried out, the police will not be seeking anything from you.

Probably not unless they need a witness. Did the police arrested anyone?

If there is no victim then no crime which means no investigation.
