I have been self conscious about the scars that I have...but I have now come to accept them and consider them about of me and a uniqueness I have. I have keloid on left elbow...for years I wouldn't walk with my arm straight down for fear of people looking at it and only noticing that. Why I thought I don't know because it is hardly noticeable.
I also have a lot of strechmarks on my legs...never was over weight or a child to show for it...just medical condition. I won't wear shorts or a skirt that shows off my legs. I just feel that everyone will see those and not anything else. I have tried numerous lightening creams and what not but it hasn't changed anything.
The one thing that has helped me accept them is that I have a boyfriend who loves me for who I am not what that I have those scars. He likes the scars...he says that they are unique to me. It is great to hear that from someone else. I hope this helps you out!

Most people are not going to focus on your scars. Unless they are actually extremely noticeable (and you say one is tiny and on your ear--hardly what I'd consider extremely noticeable) most people may not even notice them at all. The people who know you will obviously get used to them and will be dealing with who you are and how you behave, not on your skin. People are not actually very interested in your skin. Or your hair, or your shoes.
Scars should not have an effect on your self esteem. Self-esteem comes from feelings of success and accomplishment. What you do and how you treat others is what is important and what others will notice and appreciate about you. So stop spending your very valuable time on such an unimportant thing and start enjoying life and taking care of others. You can do this!

sweat heart i have a big scar on my leg. i was running on the treadmill and fell. since the motor was running the belt took of my skin and now i have areas on my leg that has no skin which became big noticeable scars. what you should do is put coconut butter on the scars. that's what i do. also you should no put sun tan lotion on so you can get the scars tan ed. i also do that to. honey you shouldn't let a little scar put your self of steam down. when i wear skirts knowing that people can see my leg i really don't care. to get your self of steam back you should look at your self in the mirror and tell your self how good you look every single morning. you should always look at your self in the mirror not the scars. i also pray to god every night telling him to help heel my leg. and it's getting better. you should also try to go to church to give you hope. i give you this advice because it's what i do. good luck sweetie.

There are a few medicines that can help you with depleting the appearance of scars, I would highly recommend that you visit your dermatologist and have him/her tell you about the V-Beam Laser that works wonders on scars, your expectations could be met more effectively then typical applications applied on the scar itself.

the more you focus on it in your head, the more people will notice. Actually YOU THINK they see it, but really it's just the aura that your putting out they see. I don't know if they'll ever disappear completely but as each day goes by try not to focus too hard on eliminating them.
