I take Centrum multivite, Vite B 50, C 500 mg, Vite E 400, Omega 3-6-9, Lecithin, Zinc 50, Calcium/Magnesium
I do not eat a completely balanced diet, so yes they are beneficial ( not going into details here). I need all the help I can get.

Currently, I am taking the cheapie vitamins, but when I had money back in the day, I would take these vitamins called Shaklee which were made from food and I could definitely feel the difference. You had to find a distributor to buy them because they are not sold OTC and I felt so good when I took them!!!! Most vitamins are made from petrochemicals or inferior natural ingredients that does not get readily absorbed by the body. Many folks in my family made fun of me, saying that I was paying too much for the vitamins and all I was going to have was expensive urine, but the benefits to my health was well worth it. It's amazing how people will pay top dollar for clothes, electronics, cars or even a house, but will not do the same for preventative measures that can preserve their health and save $$$ on doctor's visits.
I highly recommend Shaklee, but if you can't afford them (like me--boo hoo) then take what you can until you do. I still feel a difference when I take my cheapies, but honey, it just isn't quite the same, but I must do what I gotta do. Visit http://www.shaklee.com for more information.

My husband and I are both over 50, so we take Senior's Centrum (generic.) I also take extra calcium, and he takes fish oil. To tell you the truth ,who knows if they're helping?! We don't! Just trying to be healthy. In fact your question has become very interesting to me. I'm going to ask my doctor if we're just wasting our money. You deserve a star for that question!! :)
